Sal and her best friend Libby live in a quiet small town where they spend their uneventful days speculating about the paranormal, practicing fortune telling and daydreaming about the future. A local shop owner tells them about the recent death of a reclusive old woman who lived on the outskirts of town. Convinced the woman’s house is haunted, the two of them plan to break in, eager to see a ghost. Along the way, the girls are forced to confront their own fears about the future and becoming adults in a world filled with uncertainty.
